YOUR CREATIVE ENERGY IS AN EROTIC SPELL: HOW TO HARNESS PLEASURE, POWER, AND RITUAL IN MANIFESTING YOUR IDEAS INTO REALITY W/ YUMI SAKUGAWA
Consider this: every creative act you perform is a potent spell cast out into the universe, forming completely new patterns while destroying pre-existing ones, transforming the energies of all those who encounter it on a visceral level. Also consider: you are ALREADY an embodiment of creativity and erotic energy simply by being alive. What we need in this world more than ever are more creative spells cast by witches, artists, dreamers, visionaries, healers, and weirdos of all stripes to transform and uplift ourselves, our relationships, our communities, and our home planet. Old oppressive patterns need to be destroyed, new healing patterns need to be brought into life. In this workshop, participants are invited to meditate, sit in guided visualization, learn creative rituals, and invite more pleasure and power into their creative practice. Participants will also learn practical tips for relating to creative work as spells requiring ritual and attention and containers of time and space, and brainstorm collectively on how to make the act of creation pleasurable, fertile, abundant, and liberatory for all. Please bring to the workshop writing utensils and a desire to expand your creative energy in wild and imaginative ways. Open to all levels of creative practice and experience.
