Tarot Card Jackets for Healing, Protection and Enlivening the Spirit.

Sacred Tide is a brand based out of Stinson Beach, CA created by Designer, Textile Artist, and Quilter Kelsea Kirsch. Kelsea specializes in ‘Quilted Tarot Card Denim Jackets’ that she constructs and upcycles in small batches at her studio in Northern California. Her unique aesthetic merges trapunto quilting techniques with iconic artwork such as Pamela Coleman Smith’s Tarot imagery. This sculptural quilting brings the image’s esoteric symbols to life with 3D depth and volume. Kelsea’s Tarot jacket collection was born after seeking deeper embodiment of the card’s lessons, meanings, and symbolism. She sought out a way to create a garment that could carry the card’s energy with her throughout the day and infuse support. Similar to how we select a Tarot card and place it on our alter to honor its energy-selecting a Tarot Card Jacket to wear on our back is a powerful new way of invocation. Each jacket is meant to encourage healing, protection, and an enlivening of the spirit.
